The Scottish FA Quality Mark

The Scottish FA Quality Mark is a National Plan for Youth Football Development initiative which supports grassroots club development. With 250 clubs and schools already participating, over 4000 coaches have benefited from coach education and first aid training to date. Via Quality Mark, the Scottish FA and partners, Big lottery and McDonald’s will work with clubs and schools to broaden youth and community participation and to enhance player, coach and volunteer development.

Moray Girls FC are currently going through the Scottish FA Quality Mark initiative which supports grassroots club development. The club is going through the Standard Award which looks to ensure that the clubs operating standards are in place to provide a more robust and sustainable club strucuture. This is assessed by a criteria checklist. One of the required criteria is to be affiliated to our National governing body which is Scottish Womens Football Association and Local Sports Council which is SportMoray.
